What kind of people is fresh&easy™ designed for?
Everyone. We are making fresh and healthy food choices affordable and available to everyone.
 
Which competitors are you targeting?
None of them. Our plan is simple: We just focus on people. We listen and understand customers, deliver what they say they want and do it better than anyone else.
 
Why are some fresh&easy™ brand foods missing nutritional information on the labels?
The packaging on some of our products is so small that there is not enough room to list nutritional information. So we made it easy to look up that information on our website. Check out the "Quality You Can Trust" page to view nutritional information for these products.
 
Why do you put your produce in packages?
To help keep things simple, we’ve put a date code on all of our products so customers know they are at their best. Our packaging protects our products so they’re not damaged or contaminated when we ship them to the stores. It also makes checking out easy.
 
Why don’t you have attendants at every checkout station?
Our customers have a choice when checking out. They can check out by themselves or with assistance, whichever they find most convenient.
This also helps us to keep our cost down so we can keep our prices low for our customers.
 
What is better, paper or plastic?
It is a difficult question and environmentalists are split on the issue. Ultimately, if you need a bag, the best option is a reusable one, and we offer several reusable bags including one we sell for only 99 cents. In order to make our standard carrier bags as environmentally friendly as possible, we’ve made them out of 50% recycled plastic and they’re durable so you don’t need to double bag. We also offer plastic bag recycling at every store.
 
What forms of payment are accepted at checkout?
We accept cash, most major credit cards and electronic benefit transfer (EBT) cards to make it simple for everyone.
 
How can I be added or removed from your mailing list?
To be added or removed from direct mailings such as coupons, newsletters and special promotions, just fill out your contact information on a “Comment Card” at your local store and drop it in the mail.
